“I have a fascination with the interplay of rhythms, off kilter music making and the serendipitous intermingling of sequences of dissonant notes, static and other things resulting in a hypnotic, almost childlike wonderment for me, sparking threads of imagination in a moment perceived, revealing hidden meanings, a window to a subconscious that is fleeting and profound. A piece may start out with a specific intention, yet in developing beyond its original parameters as it discovers new lands, or old, or what was thought to be new but was in fact an indistinct memory.

I’ve been making music and experimental sound for a very long time and these days I record most of my work live and improvised. I use Moogs, an MS-1, guitars, various pedals, an RD-6, a TD-3, various virtual synths, virtual modular bits and bobs, and a Lyra 8, oh and occasionally my voice.” ~ Robin Webb
